High Street Church Leadership Team
High Street church is served by a very enthusiastic team of Elders lead by Paul Hedger. They have varying backgrounds and gifts and all desire to serve the Lord and see His purposes worked out now and for future generations.

Paul Hedger
Paul has served as Church Leader at High Street since 1996. This role releases his gifting in both the prophetic and the visionary. He brings strong leadership to the church and is passionate in his desire to see this body of people grounded in the Word of God, expressing themselves in active worship and seeking to spread the good news of the gospel. He loves the great outdoors, enjoys working with wood and is very gifted as a cabinet maker.
His wife Marilyn, to whom he has been married for over 30 years, plays a key role in enabling Paul to fulfil leadership ministry. They have three children, two daughters and a son.
Paul is at present overseeing the work of the 'Ark Project', our new church build.

Paul Claringbold
Paul has been part of the fellowship for the past thirty years and has served in a leadership role for many years. He is married to Anne and
often share in teaching roles. He also looks after the midweek structure within the church.
They Paul excels in fulfilling a pastoral role with a gracious, humble spirit, building good bridges of communication. within the fellowship. They have three children.

Michael Hawes.
Michael's main responsibility is to bring to the Eldership the prophetic spiritual input that God imparts through him. His astute mind and grasp of the scriptures is invaluable. He and his wife Helen run their own firm of accountants. They met and married at High Street..

Kathryn Kyte.
Kathryn holds particular responsibility for the ‘more mature’ senior members of the fellowship. Her ‘care’ is both practical and spiritual enabling each individual to feel truly valued and loved. She brings to the fellowship her expertise as a recently retired social worker as well as her God given people skills. She is married to Martin and has been at High Street for over forty years. .

Tim Malkin.
Tim has been part of High Street for most of his life. His main responsibility is to oversee the Sunday ministry and the work amongst the children and young people. He and his wife Priscilla have two young children.
Tim’s passion is worship to which he brings both inspiration and sensitivit. He is a people person, wise in his counsel and approachable in his manner.
