High Street is a village church and we see ourselves serving the wider community of the village and surrounding area. We are keen for church to extend beyond running services and into being a community with a strong emphasis on living as a family of believers.

 

Although our roots are traditional and we have a rich inheritance from the past, we are committed to being a charismatic church, open to the work of the Holy Spirit and eager to see the gifts of the Holy Spirit used in a responsible manner.  We are keen to develop a culture of biblical worship in which the whole congregation is a part and not just led from the front.  Our doors are wide open to all people, of all ages, and from all walks of life.

 

Together we are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible.  For us it is a journey that perhaps you will want to help us with;  to experience lively and heartfelt worship, loving friendship, real care and relevant teaching.  In summary,  to be a Christian community.
